YOU SHOP, WE PLANT TREES!

Ecologi

For every item you buy, we plant a tree. And we compensate our annual CO2 emissions.

With the wearness we want to offer you a sustainable alternative of extraordinary and hand-picked fashion and beauty products. But we are still far from reaching our goal. For us, sustainability is a journey and we strive for continuous improvement towards responsible corporate governance.
With the help of Leaders for Climate Action we were able to measure the CO2 consumption of the wearness. Our next step towards climate neutrality: The compensation of our annual CO2 footprint.

We are taking this path together with ECOLOGI: The non-profit company has the vision to create a platform where companies from all over the world can network and get involved in climate protection. At the same time they are helped to establish appropriate climate measures in their corporate structures.
The NGO works together with the tree planting partner "The Eden Reforeststation Project", which plants millions of trees around the world every month.

Why did we choose ECOLOGI? The total profit of the company is measured in Impact, the profits go directly into projects that specifically promote aspects of the US Sustainable Development Goals and thus have a direct impact on the society. In addition, ECOLOGI provides comprehensive transparency: all projects, partners and annual figures of the company are visible and accessible to everyone on the website www.ecologi.com.
Since October 2020, the wearness is climate neutral. With the help of ECOLOGI we were able to successfully compensate our CO2 emissions of the past year and support important projects: The protection against deforestation as well as the restoration of 186,219 hectares of land on the Pacific coast of Colombia, the restoration of biodiversity and the protection of mahogany trees in Brazil as well as a project to expand wind energy in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.

In addition, we plant a new tree for every product purchased on the wearness. Especially cool: You can watch your virtual tree farm grow and learn about each tree planted, its species, growth status and location.

Eden Reforestation Projects
Mangrove forests are essential ecosystems whose dense roots serve as an anchor for the soil and coastline preventing erosion and creating a barrier between harsh ocean systems and land. What began as primarily mangrove restoration and reforestation in 2007 grew to include a variety of native dry deciduous species in 2012.
